   We're the awesome CENTRAL TWO cell. We attend Riverlife church, Megalife youth ministry every Saturday 4.30pm at Pasir ris Downtown East. A group of youths from schools all over Singapore, insisting that God be praised in all circumstances. We believe our lives can make a difference! Encouragements

HEY EVERYONE! This is Joanc!Aiyo why our blog so dead! Come on people, it's hols, I'm sure you guys all are busy with many activities!!! Can share stuff here! :D Anyway, just so all of you know, Jason's coming back on 10th! He's dropping by at camp :D Don't know if he can stay over one night, still asking Isaac. BRING CELL TEE TO CAMP!!!!! :D You'll be getting camp pullover on Day 1, so yal might not want to bring cell jacket! I'm not bringing. Are you all excited for camp!? Hahaha. Cos I am, and I'm VERY excited :D I can really sense very strongly that camp is gna be very significant. Nevermind about the no air-con part, the conditions and all don't matter, let's focus on how we're gna encounted God through You camp okay! I really believe that camp is gna be very significant, and I'm sure all of you will receive something. Have good sleeps the nights before camp, because sleeping late and getting up early at camp might be tiring! Don't risk falling asleep during sermons because you could miss out on something God wants to bless you with! Get ready for powerpacked worship sessions, awesome sermons, fun workshops, and games that'll blow your minds! No matter who you're grouped with, always remember that this is a great opportunity to make new friends! We're all in the family of God after all, it's time to get to know one another, isn't it! (: What's more, you're grouped with people in your area, shouldn't it be even more of a 'need' to befriend them? (: My first camp was Fortified camp. I was quite new to ML, and so I didn't know that many people. And that time, we weren't even grouped w people in our area. It was super random people all over. So of course I was scared, but I made new friends and it turned out rly fun (: I still rmb Fortified camp as a powerpacked camp and I was so refreshed. So, don't worry, because God has a purpose for placing you in the group that you're in. Remember PJ said today, don't pick your neighbours! (: Get excited, start anticipating, start packing, keep praying!!! Let's keep the camp comm and group leaders and every single ML-er in prayer alright! May we all benefit from this camp (: * * * * * Alright, now... ATTENTION ALL CHUNG CHENG PEOPLE! Alright, please tag after you've read this part! We've had our meeting on Fri, but we need to meet once or twice more. And this time, I want everyone of you to be around. Please ah, reply my msgs or call me back if you miss my call okay. People like Jiaru ah, forever uncontactable one. Please start to be contactable okay! We really don't have much time left and I hope you will understand the urgency of this MHS (: I want to meet you all sometime in the coming week before camp. We have to discuss the actual programmes on the day itself (15Dec). And prolly one day, we have to go over to Kendrick's house to see how we're gna do it on the actual day. On 15 Dec, we have to meet early. Since the time of the Christmas Gathering is 130PM, I think we have to report around morn. Don't worry we won't meet that early, you all need your sleep. Please pray up for this MHS event, please get good rests everyday (: Shuling & Daphne, you 2 are IC of games right? And Benton is the MC. Persis will oversee the food part, and Shuling is contacting her teacher about a caterer. Shuling and Daphne, I hope you 2 will meet up and plan what you can by next Saturday, 6 Dec if I'm not wrong. And we have to confirm the number of friends coming in order to plan for food and doorgifts etc. I don't know if we still are doing doorgifts but I think that would be good. Try as much as possible to confirm number of people coming by 5Dec, Friday. I'll tell you who to report the names to again. Will sms all of you. PLEASE BE CONTACTABLE. There's a prayer list, for those of you who didn't come for Fri's meeting. Those who came have collated names of our friends. This list is for every single one of you to pray every night. Meanwhile yal can take down these other names and pray for them too.) There's a buddy system, Daphne - Huiting Persis - Renia Joanne - Shuling Jiaru - Benton Kele - Joan sms your buddy after you finish praying every night. PLEASE DO THIS. Everytime we do buddy system it doesn't work -.- But I want to make this work alright. I trust you to remind yourelf to pray. But buddies, if you want to remind your buddy, go ahead. And this buddy system isn't just for praying. If there's stuf you wna say to encourage your buddy, go ahead and msg/call. PLEASE, if you don't have your buddy's number, ASK ME/JOANNE/PERSIS. I trust you all to take initiative and contact us, don't just let things be and forget about the whole buddy system thing. Alright. Done. Other details, just standby for more msgs from me/Joanne/Persis. * * * * * Central 2, I hope all of you will pray alongside the CCH people for this MHS event (: It will be a good stepping stone for us, and I really believe that through this MHS, we will grow as a people for our school. This is the beginning of something starting up in our school (: Rest assured, we will be praying for all of you as well. Jiayou in your planning, may you be led by God, and remember, leave the results to Him. Just do your best in the planning, and even when it gets stressful, plan with a cheerful heart and joyful spirit! LISTEN TO THAT SONG AS YOU'RE READING THIS POST! It'll give you a...better erm, atmosphere to read this post! Anyway that song's SAVED THE DAY by Planetshakers, one of the songs we sang at service yesterday. I just wanted to highlight a few lines in the song, it's from the chorus, and here it goes: My God, he made a way,See the words from that song chorus. Sing it one time in your head. Now, picture yourself in jail, with your hands tied to your back. You've got cuts all over your body, you're in pain. You've been persecuted for your faith, been through trials and tribulations. I think in those kind of times, this song would really be our anthem. God is making a way, God is saving the day, And so we'll forever shout his praise, amen? This is a mini reminder that the end times really are coming, God really is coming. Isn't it kind of exciting? I mean, for a while we'll all be scared about the things we've to endure, but I think God must be laughing at us, because the little that we have to suffer is completely uncomparable to what Jesus had to endure, but I think God is also laughing at us, because we don't have the foresight to see beyond the pain and suffering, because we've forgotten that God told us that we should rejoice in our suffering, because we don't dream of meeting God face to face. Let's think past all those terrifying sights of suffering, but rather dream and fantasize of meeting our great God face to face-one day soon, and be reunited with the many that we've seemed to lost in this lifetime as a big family. Well Central 2, christmas is coming. I had to bring it up, but yet another year has flown by. It didn't seem too long ago when I was sitting at the computer writing a post just like this. This year has gone by so incredibly fast, and in no time at all, central 2 will grow another year older. From what I've heard (I'm far too young to actually know these things, HAHA) from the old people, central 2 really has come a long way. There was even this point in time when Central 2 had 4 regulars. I don't think the Central 2 of that time would have ever dreamt that C2 would become what it is now, but God has taken his place in our cell and he will continue to. I'd like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone, as we're going to enter into the planning stage for MyHope Singapore. I know it may seem rather intimidating to get out of your comfort zone and share your testimony, or maybe your testimony doesn't seem that great-sometimes I feel the same way too. Remember it was mentioned before, we might not have those kinds of testimonies like, before accepting Christ we were loan sharks or murderers, and after accepting Christ you've changed completely-those ARE great testimonies, but there's no reason to say your testimony isn't as good. :) It may seem normal to you, but at the Myhope gathering, you're not going to do the work, it's God that's going to come and take his place in your friends' hearts. Rely on him alone k, and I'm sure everything will go smoothly. Oh, another thing. It's another 2 months to the end of 2008, let's treasure these last 2 months we have with the Sec 4s k! <3 they've been such a great part of the cell, really can't bear to see them go BUT! We know that God's gonna raise them up in another cell and work more and more in their lives wherever they go. Anyhow, let's treasure these last 2 months with our Sec 4s, be nice to them! :D Alright I apologize for a post-full of crap. Hello :DI'm Joanc! Guess what. I GOT NEWS! K u know ah. Long long ago, like years ago, I had a fixed body alarm to wake up at 7 everyday. Weekends, weekdays, holidays, all same. But that was in Pri Sch. Come Sec sch, every morning my alarm ring thn have to go sch, I'll jump up. LOL. Hear alarm jump. But the jump wakes me up. HAHAHA. So retarded. Don't imagine this hor. Then weekends body alarm would be set at 9am, usually when the sun's super duper nice. Wake up see the sun so nice, shining in your face, awake liao. K. That was in lower sec. Now, come upper sec, no body alarm anymore -.- Sleep until evening also no problem. Problem is : can't wake up before 10am CANNOT. CMI. I'll be so tired. Even worse, on Sat my friend FORCE me wake up go jog @ ecp. Wna die alr. WAKE UP AT 7 LEH. But I went back to sleep la then I was late hahahahahaha. So. Last night I had this problem. Cos I slacked for the whole day (which I rly rly regret now) Actually also not rly slack. I reached home @ 2, slept until 4. I wanted to wake up at 3+ one hor but I didn't hear my alarm LOL. Ya then. I regret. ): So hor. I was deciding whether to study till quite late last night or sleep and wake up early to chiong whole day. But as you know now, I really cannot wake up early to study. I'LL DIE. K thn Cheeyann told me to go take a walk or sth when I wake up so that I won't be tired/sleepy. So now I reach climax + end of my story. And that is................................................. I WENT TO JOG!!!!!!!! haahha. I can see Jason's face already. Yay. 40 mins hor not bad hor hor hor. Hahaha. We should have a C2 workout day. EH ACES DAY HAHAHAHAHAAHA./ SO FUNNY. I can play music and watch you all exercise. HAHA. Ok. I must go study alr. 9++ alr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pls pray for my stupid lit. LOL. And don't ever study lit for O's unless you love lit until you can die for it. If not, you'll die like me now. Haha. Ok byebye :D P.S. WHERE ARE WE EATING TMR!?!?!?!?!!? Cell attendance is awesome for this outing sia, seriously I think is the most successful outing up till this moment. Let's rly make it the best k. (: & those have cams pls bring cams! Later one by one our battery die no fun alr. And hor. SO WHERE WE EATING!? Hahah. Eh let's go someplace nice la k (: Of course not too high end I think alot of people are broke. I am too. LOL. Unless Isaac doesn't mind treating us. And aiya, although actually, Isaac, don't have to. But since you want.............................................. HAHAHA. No la. Isaac never said anything like that. Maybe just before he go shave his head and go army he'll treat us :D ISAAC GO ARMY MUST WEAR HAT IF NOT HEAD GET SUNBURN. ahahah. Cook your brain.
